Inverness area small holders??
« on: September 10, 2015, 08:56:37 am »
Hello, I currently live in Inverness but im in the process of completing deal for 3 acres of land out by foyers.
I plan to run a small holding for my own two young children to expernience and for me and my wife to experience the satisfaction and raising you own meat and growing your own veg.
I would be really interested to speak with any other small holders in the Inverness area...everything will be rather new too us but we are looking forward to the challenge, would liek to hear about other peoples experiences and pick up words of wisdom.

cheers

Welcome to TAS  I'm further away in Aberdeenshire but I'm sure some locals will be along to welcome you
Our holding has Anglo Nubian and British Toggenburg goats, Gotland sheep, Franconian Geese, Blue Swedish ducks, a whole load of mongrel hens and two semi-feral children.
