what a beautiful day !
« on: April 06, 2015, 10:41:51 am »
No good reason to say it, but what a gorgeous day ( and I'm not at work :excited: been up since first light, feeding the growing pigs who are now basking in the sun, moving the sheep down to our lower field and clearing all the wasted hay from the hay rack area and reseeding it. Got veg patch to attack for the rest of the day but for now am sitting in the sun having a coffee. Lucky lucky man

Love days like these  :)  We spent yesterday in the sunshine achieving loads and then a glass of red in the sunset watching the lambs jumping about and chickens pulling worms out of my muddy wellies  - have to make the most of the sunny days really!

It's gorgeous isn't it  :sunshine:  Yesterday was lovely too, thought today would be foggy.  It is, or was, along the Forth-Clyde valley, but we can look down on that from lovely sunshine.
All the ewes are enjoying the sun and keeping their legs firmly crossed so they can enjoy the peace  ::)
My friend is coming from Japan today to see the lambs and there's not one  :-[

its lovely, not quite as cloudless as yesterday but gorgeous. Horses sunbathing, chooks sunbathing, errant cockerel caught, ducklings hatching-chores done (washing actually on line!). Need to do some marking but its just too darn nice.

Hens out early so we could go out for the day! Walked along part of South Coast path to Dartmouth, fish and chips fir lunch, then walked back. Sun shining, woods full of primroses and lots of lambs! Spring is really here(I hope :fc: ).

I sat outside spinning and talking to the goats. Bliss. Then took the dogs for a lovely walk until they jumped in the lake and came to share the water with us.

I'm trying to find a rubbish day to go and choose windows, but it's forecast sunny for days  :sunshine:.  I'm certainly not wasting it to go trudging around showrooms. Windows will have to wait.

Fleecewife -I need to go and choose windows too but not today!! I should be in the office but I went in, collected my stuff and am working from home for the day to keep an eye on our first lamb (ever) who had a bit of a traumatic entry to this world this morning. She and mum are enjoying the sunshine and I seem to be having quite frequent tea breaks!
