does anyone else on t.a.s.f. live in these areas
would be great to know if there is, as maybe we could
benefit from each other in the future.
its one thing talking online(dont get me wrong the help and advice
                                    ive had on ere has been excellent)
but to know people on a personal level has huge addv.
hope i havent put myself across as nosy or anything just
trying to make contacts or friends, as we have just moved to the area

have you looked on the 'members map?'  It may not be 100% accurate, but might give you an idea!

no, it'll be fine Im sure!
Ive made two very good, local (ish) friends via here.... and theres only a handful of TASers in our county... so it must be good.
Is there a Smallholders association in your area you could join?  just a thought!

Some people don't like to put their pin on the map but if they see yours they may get in touch.  Joining a smallholders association is a great idea - that's' how I made so many friends when I moved 150 miles from the area that had always been my home from birth.  A good few of them are on here too.

I am sure people will be happy to make contact with other people on the forum if they are in the same area.  I have tried putting myself on the members map, but it seemed to put me miles away from where I am  (I am in Derbyshire).
