I still think you should get police involved, they may be laid back about dogs running round loose, but an official complaint should have some result, esp sheep worrying.
Hoping I'm not saying anything out of line but is it quite difficult to get a shotgun licence over there?

I’m also in Ireland so have an idea of your problems.  If there is no talking to yer man or you fear for the consequences then I would very quietly deal with the situation yourself or if you have friends in the world of game shooting ask their “advice” for a quiet discrete solution.

If you want the official line;  if you have a local dog warden get him to round them up.  Lodge a complaint with the local Garda station, if no action then write to the area superintendent, if no action the Ombudsman.
Please to hear the lambs recovering.
