How do l go about getting my sheep scanned to see if they are in lamb ? Do they come out to you ?
What sort of price should l expect to pay ?

We pay £30 plus VAT - that's our scanner's basic rate. Not sure how many that includes - we had 15 scanned this year. After the basic number, whatever that is, it's so much per ewe but since we haven't reached the maximum yet ...

Gillian comes here; herscannes is mobile ie in a back pack. so we just pen the sheep in a wee pen and she  and we go in with them, scanning and marking with however many lambs they're carrying. Takes about 30 minutes from arrival to departure

Great, we are near John O Groats, we use Wick vets, will go in on Monday. Many thanks Rosemary
