« on: January 21, 2010, 04:50:35 pm »
Is anyone else going to watch this? I quite enjoyed Monty Don's previous programs and his writings in the Observer (I think) years ago, looking forward to this one!  :&>

I'm going to try to watch it, I like Monty Don - he comes across as a lovely person and like many others he hasn't had his troubles to seek.  I believe he suffered from depression for a long time.

I felt that he wasn't helping out that much other than giving moral support and introducing them to the pickiest buyers as an exercise. But moral support (watch your health) is something. I think they were doing great! And I'd love to have one of them duvets, lol. Will definitely be watching next week! :&>

M and S do very nice wool duvets;and i'd say they're a lot easier to get hold of to. That couple don't appear to have a website so no getting it direct sadly.

I had chance to see Monty last night on T.V and thought it was a " top "program ... and I am looking forward to next week, he used to live not far from me and every one speaks highly of him.

I haven't watched any tv for ages, building extension etc. Hoping to catch this on more 4 as I think he is quite a hunk and very easy to listen to! Makes a change from all the "engine" programmes we have to endure for the males of my home.
Enjoying life making the most of whats available. My kids were little yesterday, today they are almost adults, where on earth did that change happen?

Same in this household - all engines and mega machines and cop programmes! I was very surprised when they sat down to watch the wartime kitchen and garden with me a few weeks ago  :o I do like Monty Don, but missed the programme, so have to find it somewhere on Channel 4's website.
