My hens have stopped.  I have four Light Sussex and they have laid right through until 10 days ago. Weather and foxy-bloody-loxy may both be contributors. I can't control the weather but the foxes are getting hammered.

I haven't had eggs for weeks and then 5 turned up when it snowed....do you think it is to do with more light, reflected off the snow, or just a coincidence?

Does make you wonder!  My point of lays, which seemed to have been POL for months, started laying on 5th Jan in the snow!  Even more bizzarely there at least 3 weeks difference in age between oldest and youngest and they've all come in at the same time.  I'm assuming its down to the lengthening days.
