What is it about pigs and dogs?

As I watch my dog interacting with my Kunes I can't help but wonder what the attraction is?  Does anyone have any theories?

Our "pet" pig thinks he is a dog, the dog is not so sure.  Perhaps its 2 intelligent animals in a good home interracting due to the human influence?

Hello!

Don't you think their behaviour is quite similar? I always think a litter of puppies and a litter of piglets look quite similar, at least in their composition and behaviour.

Running our large sighthounds last October, I thought for a split second that my friend must have arrived with her black Lab. I then realised that it was a Berkshire porker, escaped from her run and galloping side by side with the hounds. Not only did the hounds not mind but they slowed down to enable her to keep up!!
