WANTED: Drake for Lonely Aylesbury Duck
« on: November 23, 2014, 08:27:58 pm »
Our Aylesbury duck has recently been "widowed" and we are desperately seeking a new companion for her...any breed may suit, but would prefer a smaller/quieter lad for our shy lass.

We're located just outside Glasgow but are willing to travel within reason to find a new beau...new home includes large garden with pond, extensive duck-friendly grazing, and 2 custom-built nighttime coops!

Please help!

I'd need to speak to the boss, but we may have a fawn and white indian runner drake spare, as I want to replace him with one of this year's hatchings. He's about three years old, gentle enough with the ladies and guaranteed fertile.

This is not a photo of him, but if you look at the chap on the far right, that's the general idea:

Let me know if you're interested, and I'll broach the thorny subject with Mrs Womble!  :)
