Anyone have any ideas what i could use roughly 1/4 of an acre square piece of land for? Id love to have an animal on it but I don't want birds as I'm afraid to say I have a bird phobia and not sure if there is anything else that could live somewhere small like this! I have attached a photo, would love to know if anyone has any ideas!

It looks too small for most animals.  How about rabbits for meat?  :bunny:

What about an alpaca for two?

A waterbuffalo and a yak need at least half a field.

Pretty bantams  :chook: :chook: to help you overcome your phobia - they really are very sweet and the eggs are delicious.

Obviously it's hard to tell from a single picture and the nature of the lens can distort distance, but that looks a lot less than 0.25 acre (by a factor of about 5 at a guess).

If it was 0.25 acre then pigs at the most if you don't mind it decimating.  If it's what's shown in the picture it's similar to an allotment so "fur and feathers" small poultry - chickens and ducks but that's out because of your fobia.  Never done rabbits (intentionally) but they would presumably be okay.

How about a dog?  Not to eat obviously.

Just seen this and I would suggest bees with a lot of bee plants, thyme, sedum? Ask on a bee forum, it could be beautiful as well as productive.
