Don't see many places to rent for such a low rental per year.  I know its where it is, but all the same, I am sure someone will take it on.

I would have a couple of years ago... but with children at high school it just isn't an option... and I have read the Ann Cleeves books....

If I didn't have a little girl I would be there like a shot if there was a large enough share of common grazing to make some sort of living. There was one on Iona a couple of years ago that I really liked, I just didn't like the terms of the agreement with the land being on a 5yr term and the house only on a 12month rolling agreement. Island life and the isolation it brings would suit me down to the ground.

I saw it advertised in the P&J a week past Saturday.
The boss and I were incredibly taken with it, having just spent a week on N.Uist when I saw the advert I would take it immediately but......I had to come back down to earth and have a real think about it.
