Help Offered - (and looking for some sheep)
« on: December 06, 2009, 01:00:42 pm »
Hi,

Firstly, I'm looking for anyone in Fife who would possibly allow us the use of maybe 6 or so of their sheep (on your land)? - Strange request - But in the middle of training our youngest Border Collie for trials and we used to train on a friends sheep but they have since moved further south and its no longer possible, and I'm not really in a position to own my own sheep atm.  (I'd be willing to offer cash each time for the use of the sheep etc).  She isn't a biter or grabber, so if this concerns you i can assure you that so-far she has never shown any signs of gripping!  Would be looking to take her to them maybe something like twice a week - sure we could arrange something which suited us both...

Located in Fife area of Scotland.

Secondly - I'm looking for anyone possibly needing a bit of help around the farm - preferrably with a horse/s?
I'm looking to buy a horse next spring and although i have riding experience, i don't have much 'hands-on' experience in and around the stable etc.  My family used to own a Connemara - But i was far to young back then to really be interested in helping.  I wouldn't expect to get paid or anything like that!  Just looking for a bit of hands-on experience maybe once a week or fortnight.  I wouldn't be looking to bother anyone too frequently :)

Many Thanks  :) :sheep: :horse:

Thats a bit of a shame! When we planned to move further down south a few years back, we should have just kept going till we reached Wales  :D
