Because Rosemary's too drunk to type...

You might be interested to know that Young Butcher of the Year is on BBC3 Monday 16th November at 10.30pm. It's the first of four episodes, will make a change from X-Factor, and is amusingly presented by George Lamb.   ;D

can anyone recommend a good butcher in the West Lothian/Falkirk area? the one in Linlitghow is rubbish.

And i'm looking for a meat supplier for my new business venture launching in the new year.

And i'm looking for a meat supplier for my new business venture launching in the new year.

Little bit further away, but I'm finding Paul's Quality Butcher with 3 or 4 shops in Kilsyth, Kirkintilloch and, err, somewhere else pretty good. They seem to make an effort to source local meat, hang well and are very good at providing exactly what I ask for.

apparently they have a shop in Grangemouth - just a couple of miles away - which would be perfect.

their name had popped up on earlier searches, but i only seen the kilsyth shop and it was a bit far away for day to day purposes.

so, i'm off to see them this week.

thanks

I must admit to singing the praises of Paul's as often as I can - nothing at all to do with the fact that he is familly.....   ;)

He's Stuart's young cousin, and has won various awards since he started up.

After all that, I forgot! Going to see if it's repeated and I'll record it. Shame. :(

i was only half watching it

why do all these talent show competitions now take on quite an aggresive air from the judges? trying to create tension where none really exists.

thought the scots boy was a wee bit unlucky (then again, i got distracted for a big bit in the middle, so maybe he did make a right arse of it!)
