the above link is a very interesting section of a film about Monsanto . I say interesting...in fact what I mean is, it is the most terrifying documentary I have ever come across .
It confirms in minute detail , all my fears about Monsanto and the crimes they are committing.
I ask anyone who is concerned about GM food to watch this , and get as many people as possible to do the same. It gives all proof needed about the true aims of this disgusting company, about the lies they create , about the corruption they carry out , and about the true death and destruction that their GM food brings about.
The rest of the film is also on youtube , here are the links:

OK, I'm now officially freaked. But what can we do about it? It just makes me want to bury my head in the sand, which I know is pathetic but it makes me feel so helpless. No wonder folk resort to extreme action.

You were writing the other day about world hunger Russ, and the fact that a billion people in the world now go to bed hungry, Monsanto and others would argue that if we are going to feed 2.3 billion people by the year 2050 then the development of GM crops resistant to disease, drought, salinity, heat and toxic heavy metals is vital to human survival as we know it.

Personally the problem I have with GM is the patenting of seed, the ways we are effectively banned from keeping our own seed in order to finance the chemical companies. Governments and non profit organisations used to conduct far more agricultural research, now it is largely left to the chemical companies who, surprise, surprise, want a return on their investment.
Europe's blanket ban on GM imports is already weakening and as supplies get harder to source I think we will see more loosening of the situation in order to keep the supermarket shelves stocked, basic political expediency.

But as someone wiser than I am said, we must face the fact that we can not have infinite growth in our finite world.

If the Earth cannot support 2.3 billion people, then it won't.

I have been saying what Monsanto are upto for years now ...and at last I found some real proof of what they are doing, not just what people think is MY idea of their almost unstoppable bid to control the worlds food.
What can we do ? ... save our own seed is first on the list ...Save it because Monsanto are still buying up seed companies and disappearing old varieties of plants. Then refuse ANYTHING that has or even may have GM in it !!! Email all of your supermarkets you use , and tell them that you won't use their company if they sell GM ...and mean it  !!! Tell your local MP that we should not have GM anything ....send them the links to the video clips ... Tell all your friends and family and again show them the video clips.
Our former UK government is reconsidering allowing GM use nationwide , as it is the answer to the worlds food problems ? Once again this just shows how corrupt they are .
I for one, WILL become active if they do allow GM ....RAMBO will become active..( BAMBI maybe  nearer the mark !!, but whatever)...

Show me one legitimate proven case of any ANY crop that has given more , due to it being GM than a non GM crop ....no such proof exists ... not ONE case... They have their lies that they spew out , corrupt unsubstantiated drivel about what it can and can't do ... but not one ounce of proof anywhere...
Their corruption and propaganda works .... well it does on some anyway ....that is till they have them in their pocket... then the truth outs...All I say is watch the video clips and then tell me they have the answer !!!!

another good site . Telling the truth behind what is happening to our food. The video on there is excellent . The book 'Seeds of Deception' is an eye opener to say the least . I haven't read his latest , but I can  imagine it to be as accurate and true as the Seeds of Deception .

Join me, Rosemary.  It scares me so witless that I don't even look at any of Russ's links now.  I can't I'd probably go and jump in the Goudnie or shoot myself with my starting pistol.  I have become an ostrich - now all together - fingers in ears - la la la la la  la la la la

I'm totally opposite to you Doganjo except I can't watch the videos - Arghhhhh!  I tried to watch the first link and my computer is so slow that the video kept stopping and starting - really frustrating.  I assume its my computer anyway - maybe its Monsanto!!!

hello MM,
if, when you play the video clip in youtube, it stops and starts , wait for it to start and instantly click on pause ... then wait for the shaded red line to move along the bottom and when it is a fair distance from the little round thingy ( like my techno speak there  ? ) ...click play again ....it will then work fine till it catches up with the end of the red line again...click and pause again...or wait till the red line goes all the way across...should be fine then ...

cheers

hey, that's super Russ, thanks, I've been having those problems too.  I'm just going to try it on some HPR training videos.  What a star!
