Very excited as HFW is cooking me Christmas Dinner
« on: November 06, 2009, 05:07:45 pm »
I started a community farm about 6 months ago, which is progressing extremely well.  Many of our members were obtained via Landshare.  This has led to an impending visit by HFW to cook us Christmas Dinner and we will be featured on the new series of RC.

We are of course extremely excited about the prospect.  We have had a lot of help from other people/organisations.  In particular the Soil Association have been a hugely supportive.

Equally supportive has been one of TASs own members, Carl.  Carl was kind enough to go through all the relevant paperwork with us prior to our venture into pigs and has been a constant provider of advice and support.

Many thanks Carl.

It will indeed be turkey.  The stuffing will be made from some of Carls excellent home reared pork.

We are very very excited   ;D ;D

Ask him what he thinks about designer dogs.  On second thoughts don't, he won't know what you mean, he thinks crossbreeds and mongrels are better than pure breds.
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age
