Forum notification emails
« on: July 15, 2014, 05:05:24 pm »
Forum notification emails (for things like new PMs and new posts) have been queueing for the past 48 hours or so, since our email host decided our web server was a potential spammer.  :-\

This has been fixed now and all queued emails should have been sent out.

Apologies for the issue, it shouldn't happen again  :fc: but we're still learning a few things about our new setup and there will most likely be a few more bumps in the road. Thanks for your patience.  :)

I'm still finding things slow - is that part of the reason?

No, it was unrelated to the speed issues.

Since 16:50 (nearly 40 minutes ago) there are only 2 slow response warnings logged, compared to dozens a minute before then.

If you're still experiencing slow responses from the forum please copy and paste the performance stats at the bottom of the page (something like 'Page created in 0.115 seconds with 13 queries.') and that will help me diagnose the issue.

Thanks,

Dan
