It is. I sign quite a few now and there have been some good results.

It's our age MGM    Mr F has been known to write to his MP too.  Wouldn't have thought of it even ten years ago.  But it seems we can have some direct influence.

My MP is sick of hearing from me, I suspect. 


You're right, though. When I was younger and people were waving banners and shouting Ban the Bomb, I never did see any point in it. How could anything I did affect what was going on in the world but now I realise that we all need to stand up and be counted. You can't moan about things you don't like if you don't do anything to try to change them.
