Kate Clarke who I reserved a Castlemilk Moorits ram lamb from. Brian Miller judge of the poultry and his wife and daughter for there help, thanks for the tramadol. Jenny of the Hebridean Woolhouse from Pitlochry was lovely. All the poultry exhibitors who were great. I felt that it went well congratulations to all the organisers and helpers well done.

OH, myself and our friends I had lots of fun, especially little Jasmine - she kept OH straight with the goats.

Thank you to the lovely helper who went dashing off after my Castlemilk Moorit ram lamb who made a dash for freedom when the gate to the ring was opened 4".

Great info from the fleece on the hoof judge after the event and when Sue Backer mentioned "beasties in fleeces" I wanted to disappear thankfully it was followed by "but there are non in here".

I just love being with all the animals and like minded owners - nothing better than talking sheep and goats all day - thank you festive team.

A little birdie told me that it was perhaps Brucklay who went home with quite a few rosettes  :sheep:

Yes Fleecewife the rosette tally was very good, the Castlemilks did well with the castlemilk ewe lamb that came reserve in the autumn now a gimmer getting northern short tail champion - her fleece had completely come off bar 2 small patches (so they had to come off) so she looked sleek and elegant and is pretty tame due to her digestive biscuit habit  :innocent:

I was there but I didn't get much of a chance to socialise as I had to be home by 10am!

However, I left my birds, and to my delight and surprise discovered later in the day my cockerel won Reserve Overall Interbreed Poulty and Waterfowl, so I am just delighted  my friend stepped in and got her photo taken on my behalf :D

I was there too, had a enjoyable if busy day. Saw lots of familiar faces, some of the familiar faces I even knew their names! Wish I'd had time to go along to some of the talks.

I was there  :excited:
Had a great day catching up with familiar faces and new ones too, really enjoyed being in and around the pigs for a change (normally I'm the crafty person and Mr HH does the pigs - he couldn't come so I got my chance  ;))
Looking forward to September now

We were there too, didn’t think I would make it but managed to get back in time to attend.  Thought it was really good and very interesting, thank you very much to the organizers for putting the show on here in addition to the Autumn show.
It looked to be quite busy while we there, I hope the turnout was good throughout the day.  I was a bit worried the exceptionally good weather might distract people from attending.

yes my wife and i had a  very enjoyable day. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of trade stands and people selling their own produce. We have been to all the shows so far and enjoyed them all. so hopefully the traders will realise just what a great place to show their wares at the next spring fling (hint Hint)
