DB990 Review Wanted
« on: May 13, 2014, 05:49:16 pm »
Hello,
does anybody out there own a DB990 Selectamatic?
If they do, I'd be interested in hearing what you think of them as working tractors...
Thanks :)

well I do own a 990 selectamatic but it's more of a project than a working tractor and I've never used it in anger so I can't really tell you anything 1st hand. They're supposed to be quite good ploughing tractors.

you could try the DB tractor club forum (sorry dan I seem to be referring folks to other forums a lot lately for some reason):

Got a few DBs including two 990s. Can sort you out with something. Good strong tractors, good for small farms and yard work. 50 hp  engine and very reliable with loads of gears. I have one here with a front loader that you are welcome to look at, got film of it working my Ransome 2 row potato digger with ease and also on dics harrow.

Thanks for the offer, but Huddersfield's a long way from the Highlands :)
There's one for sale on a farm locally - I've only got 9 acres to deal with, but a small tractor would make life a lot easier!

Thanks.
