I had to ring the vet today as the discharge from Cloud has intensified and looks more blood than anything. She is fine in herself and eating well, so he's not too worried. He put up another syringe of antibiotic for her which she has now had. (Thank goodness for friends who are prepared and able to do the job - my fingers don't work well enough now). The vet said they were big kids. I'm amazed that she managed to conceal three big kids so well. Although she expanded quite quickly, she never grew that big. I thought she'd just have one or twins at most.

The babies are turning into right Houdinis. The back gate into the goat yard is now out of bounds as I have tied a sheep hurdle across it and am old folding table is across the gap in the front gate. A new gate for the front is being made tomorrow (Thank goodness for friends who are carpenters who like home cooked meals) but the back will just have to stay out of bounds until the babies are bigger.

Appointment booked for disbudding. (Thank goodness for a vet who knows goats).
