TAS people really do exist!!!
« on: October 10, 2009, 08:16:21 pm »
At long last I have met a fellow TASser today.  I went over to LittleBlue's house for a fleeting visit with 2 not entirely well behaved children!  I've never seen a back garden set up before, but it worked really well - I was so impressed.  Had my camera with me, but totally forget to take any photos!  Thanks Ruth for a lovely visit - I'd love to have a go at milking the goat one day :goat:  Not with the children around though!

You'll be sending them back within 1 hour.  When I was paying at the agricultural merchants this morning one of the staff said "Your eldest is locking your youngest in dustbin - just thought you should know!"  Kept everyone entertained though!

Aww, thanks Mirimaran. Always nice to hear when somebody else thinks we're doing a good job!
Your kids are great (couldnt eat one whole though) given the other half some thought (especially after Ive been to see next door's new baby, 4days old and gorgeous) !!
Haha.
Sheba was very interested in where you'd been, sniffed all the chairs and sat thinking about it!

From a very real TASer...

Wow Ruth, I've always thought I should rent my children out to couples who are thinking of starting a family.  They are the perfect form of contraception so you've taken me by surprise saying that.

Little Blue!! how did you do that???? I'm impressed. I love children and really miss my grandchildren. I had three girls and I loved the fact that I could enjoy a second childhood with them, I'm on my third childhood now!!!! The problem with children is the think they are adults and cannot understand why they cannot do what they want and the trouble with adults, they have forgotten what is was like to be a child ;)

GREAT smiley!!! The nearly mum is still nearly ::) ;) ;D This will be her first calf, so I'm hovering a bit, the first timers are more apt to need help. At least now for the first time in my life, I can sleep in the barn if need be.

I have to confess that I prefer animal babies to the human variety :D

When my friends 4 children were still quite young, she insisted on bringing them into the house two at a time - leaving he other two in the car.  She said it would be too much for me if they all came in at once!!!  She was probably right :D

:D oh I SO agree!!! (one BIG reason I only had one child) I never (even to this day) enjoyed holding other peoples babies! None of my family understands this. But I can't resist getting as close and personal as I possibly can to ANY new baby animal!!! :-*

I have worked for Social care agencies for years and many of them were with children and families and I love working with children, I remember one very grumpy 10 mth old boy who cryed and cryed, his mother used Heroin durring her pregancy and babies comming off it are very upsetting, but some how, I loved thier grumpyness,,,, love little people and little animals and big animals..big people too but am a bit more choosy, but I try to find someting positive in everyone ;) ;)afterall, animals are far less complex xxx
