Russ, look at just how much you were missed - wow!

You asked whether it was too much muck or rain, hence Why I fell. I guess it's too much damned rain which is turned to muck by the animals. The duck pen and the pen where the Pygmy goats sleep is also on a slight slope which makes it worse. We have had very little rain for a month now but looks like all that is gonna change today.

While I am writing I will tell you all a funny story. Lastnight I went to feed the ducks. They have a large aluminium dog bowl for their food to go in. Well, I noticed the bowl was upside down and thought nothing more of it. When I got closer to it the bowl started to move and I thought what the hell?? Then, the penny dropped as I noticed one of my Call Ducks was trapped underneath and as she tried to free herself she ran about with the bowl on her, too big for her to remove. It did make me laugh - she didn't see the funny side of it however.

Reminded me of my granny containing the mad bantem cockrel she had with a bucket over the top of him when she went to collect the eggs - he'd have ripped her legs to bits otherwise, mad psyco bird

\animals are like children, if you watch them they will nearly always do something funny!!!! I wounder why they don't help each other out in situations like that, I wounder if they all look on and say "serve them right!"
