OH got up at 6.30 and said the water bag was showing on my last ewe to lamb. She had a partial prolapse last Tuesday (it kept coming out and in) so we put a harness on her.
Got the harness off this morning at 6.45 and water bag broke around 7am, then nothing. She didn't appear distressed, and carried on eating. It wasn't until about 8.45 that I noticed a hoof just about showing.
At 9am she had twins quickly, one after the other like shellng peas, unlike my other ewes who have been very slow to produce their second. So it turned out to be a good finish to our lambing.
Ram lamb called Urfai (he was a Welsh warrior apparently) and ewe lamb called Ume (Japanese for plum blossom.

Our first two sets of twins were born this morning - first lot up and feeding when OH went out, second lot about 10 mins ago, up and raring to go.

We're seven down; five to go and they seem to have their legs crossed  Perfect lambing weather too - dry, sunny if a little blowy - but it's not bad at 12" off the ground

I have just 1 ewe left to lamb.
Lost a pair of twins, born dead, but other than that this year was one of the easiest lambings I have had in a long while. Grass is back and it's not to wet.

Congrats on a good ending to your lambing. Hopefully you will continue and have many more successful lambings. Don't worry about the problems that you had at the start, everybody has a bad first year

Excellent - glad it ended well 

I'm still waiting for one! She's now at least 2 days late, a shearling scanned for a single - and it's growing all the time  Please let her have it this afternoon, I would really to go to bed before midnight and like not to get up at 5am tomorrow.

Great Bionic, are you glad it's all over?  Do it all again next year?  Bit like having your own kids, nightmare at the time and then you forget all that and do it again

Well, I have never had children of my own but if this is anything to go by I am sure I made the right decision. Yes, I am glad its all over and I have already decided I'm not doing it again next year. I get too worried about the girls and their babies.
Perhaps i should put more effort into growing some fruit and veg instead. At least I don't worry if something gets tramples on or wilts before my eyes

I'm with you Bionic, I always think it's a good idea at the time and then when it's imminent (like now) I start getting stressed that it will go ok and that i've got everything covered.  Born worrier.  I've lambed once before from our original soays and all went perfectly so now I'm worried that I can't have that twice 
Just feel that I should let all the girls have a chance at being a mum for once in their little lives and hopefully reduce the rare breed list a bit.  Nail biting at the moment though.  Just do the goaties next year I think.

It's when you don't worry that you need to be worried .  Think how much you've learnt this year, and what you could improve on for next year.  By tupping time you'll have forgotten about all the bad stuff and will just be looking forward to more baby lambs plopping out and bouncing around the place.     At least see how you get on over the summer before deciding for sure - yes it's sh*t when something goes wrong, but it's so so good when something goes right.

What a lovely ending to your lambing

I told my hubby that this is the first and only lambing I'll ever do. I think the problems with the second of my four got me paranoid about everything that could go wrong. We actually did pretty well for a bunch of newbies (the ewes and us!) so I'm already having second thoughts about not doing it again... 

Having said that, our primary reason for having lambs this year was to provide us with meat. We've bought meat lambs in previously so it's going to be a heart wrenching decision on which two lambs to keep and which four to kill
