Why do you worm them every month? Do they actually need wormed that often? Are you getting worm counts done?

Using wormer too frequently will make them immune to it. Better to do a worm count and check if they need done.

Hi Beth

That's ok, we read all about it and apparently they have done test's and they don't get immune to it.  It is now just part of our routine and we are happy with it so just put our dogs on it which is for 3 days each month, have ordered some samples for chickens too.

Thanks for welcome to site

Verm X is only any good if the animal concerned is clean of worms in the first place  !!!!   It does not get rid of worms.....................if in doubt, dose the goats and then get them tested for worms.  You will find that Verm x has not been efficient.

I had this problem with it .........couldn't understand why the goats were still losing weight....faeces tested and they were very high worm counts.   I see on another forum that somebody else has had the same problem.

So don't rely upon it..............
