weaners wanted Herefordshire

As title, willing to travel a reasonable distance (so Gloucestershire, etc. also possible).  Not GOS this time and preferably not Berkshires (there's still some in the freezer).  Preferably a general purpose pig that I can grow on for ham and bacon as well as some joints.

I'm hoping to collect as soon after Easter as possible, can't collect before as we're going on holiday (whoo hoo!).

Berkshires make great ham and bacon. I have 2 sows due in a week so piglets would not be ready to go until about end of May. I'm not far from Kington if you are stuck.

You're not wrong there, I made a ham from a Berkshire at Christmas and it was the best I've ever tasted (I would say that wouldn't I!).  Berkshires are great little pigs, but as we're "beginners" I wanted to try something different next time and our boys would have made smallish bacon rashers.  I'll bear you in mind though as a couple more Berkshires would be great if we can't find anything else suitable.

We have GOS weaners from the Princess Freda bloodline, which is an excellent bacon pig with a long back.   We're just south of Bromyard.
