Oh!  Well hello again northwich  - I'm castlemilk over there!   I don't always read the intros on here, there are a lot and I spend too much time at the 'puter as it is - but the username 'madcat' intrigued me!

I'm not sure now is the very best time to start reading about sheep here on TAS  - it's lambing time so there are some nice pics, but there are also quite a few heart-rending stories  . 

I expect Fleecewife will pop by soon enough; she's one of the two who got me into spinning (the other's jaykay, she'll drop in too somewhen.)  Fleecewife has Hebs, Soays and Shetlands; jaykay has Shetlands.  There are other spinning sheepkeepers too - the other Sally - Bionic - is offline at the mo, but she keeps Ryelands.  Hopefully some of the others will drop in and tell you something about their sheep and spinning exploits too.
