Ducks gone broody

yep..fluffed up feathers, bills taken a different shape..and boy !!! can't that girl shout when she wants food  :roflanim:

this will be her 1st batch… lets see if she stays the coarse

I've not yet had a broody duck! They do sound quite amusing.

me and the word organised, are not two things i would put together  ;D more of a quick panic , rush around like a mad man ..and get by …..  :roflanim: … i am getting better,

i have the chick crumb ready.. and i had already built a bigger duck house…
plus i have a few new homes lined up...

J & H, make sure the chick crumbs are non-medicated or they won't agree with ducklings! I couldn't get non-medicated here last year and first hand-fed them porridge  then found a place on-line who sold duck starter crumbs with free delivery.
Good you have only one broody - OH let 3 girls sit when I was away last year and I had to organise 3 safe houses for the maternity wards on my return - mad!
