Lister single speed shearing machine, overhauled and pat tested 2012, Not Used since (I have 2) with BRAND NEW UNUSED flexi drive & flexi drive ferrule also unused

£300 excluding delivery, it's heavy, I've no idea, yet

Also a very very very nice handset might possibly be up for sale, it's fantastic but I'll put that up seperatly if it's going, or ask

Alistair,  How large would a duck need to be in order to use this machine?

We have a couple of Aylesburies, and I was wondering if I could train them up to do my shearing for me - it's never been my favourite job.

Think it depends on the handset they're going to be using, but I'd think you'd need at least 3, one to shear, one to pull the on/off cord and another one to hold the sheep, unless you can train the sheep to stand still, sit up nicely, roll over etc etc

I hope your serious, this isn't a joke, do you want me to pm any pictures before you put your offer in?, I can include a snake or a spider by the side of the machine to give you some idea of scale, I'd use one of the cats but they're unaturally large so you'd think it was smaller than it actually is

I've spoken to the ducks, and they're not at all sure about this. There are only two of them, and though I suggested hiring a Sebastapol goose to hold the sheep, union rules apparently prevent me from hiring a new member of staff from outside the EU, so I'm afraid I'm out  .

Suzie - I'm afraid I have to disagree with you re the price. When I mentioned it to the sheep, they insisted I get with the times and invest in proper laser wool removal kit, or at least a very large tub of Veet hair removal cream. In comparison, £300 looks like an absolute bargain to me.
