Changes to forum boards
« on: February 24, 2014, 10:41:34 pm »
We've made a few changes to the forum boards tonight, and there will likely be a few more over the coming days.

The Current Affairs board is now archived and read-only. It was introduced nearly a year ago in response to member demand, but it's evident that it has brought little (if anything) positive to what is first and foremost a smallholding website and forum. Thanks to all who contributed to the experiment, if I ever suggest opening it up again you have my permission to shoot me.  :)

Please do not post threads related to politics, current affairs, elections, referenda or other similar topics on the forum - there are plenty of current affairs forums out there for the purpose. We will remove any such threads.

We'll be making other changes to better reflect the site's roots and its core purpose, which is helping and supporting anyone with an interest in smallholding. Some other boards have been moved or renamed to better reflect their purpose.

Thank goodness,  they say you should never discuss politics or religion in a pub.....I think the same applies here.

Well that's a shame, nothing wrong with healthy adult discussion. I'm off to feed the pigs and discuss with them their views on world peace. :roflanim:

Shouldn't have been necessary IMO but the sheep will love it.
If you cant beat 'em then at least bugger 'em about a bit.

Yes, that's probably for the best Dan. There are plenty of other places for that sort of thing.

Linda

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.

Let go of who you are and become who you are meant to be.

No-one happier about this than me. Very tired and stressed about allegations made against me.

Probably included me - didn't stress me out, but probably best to keep it off this forum .
