Hi From Bronygarth, Shropshire.
« on: February 21, 2014, 03:10:59 pm »
Hello everyone,
I thought it was time I should say hello having been reading the posts and joined TAS last year. I have One and a half acre of wood with a small orchard of a dozen apple and pear trees, and a little open field for veg and grand children to play on; that is situated 125 mtres above sea level on the side of the Glyn Ceriog valley looking towards Chirk Castle on the Welsh side of the valley from me. I am right on the Welsh/English border with Offa's Dyke within yards of my place. So far, I have fattened two pigs, 4 broiler chickens and rehomed 4 ex-batt chickens since starting out. Home grown meat is the best and so I have just started off with 3 more weaners heading for the freezer in due course.

I am a complete novice and having moved from a public sector job to do something less stressful; I am finding things somewhat of an eye opener, but loving every minute of it and learning lots of new skills.
