I don't disagree but think it's been debated on here before ..... not easy to solve I don't think. I've spoken to a couple of people locally who breed litters and it would make you so , Doganjo.

Have to admit that, though it maybe better than nothing, the 'assured' breeders didn't reassure me.  :(

Ah, they say licensed breeders.

Dogango, there isn't a breed club for Spollies, they are just trendy Mongrels,  They are likely to be home, accidental or gundog bred.

As a breed, where the spaniel is dominant, I love that cross and want it.

I think therefore it's likely to be a homebred or small kennel.  I would take a rescue sprollie but haven't seen one!

In truth,  I have spies out for one in Bulgaria (where spaniels are quite popular).

As a Championship Dog show Judge it never even occurred to me there would be a breed club since it isn't a breed - it is a mongrel!  What I meant was for you to choose a breed and take it from there, but if you really want a mongrel then you will have to be extremely careful - try to find someone who has health tested the parents before breeding - a friend of mine breeds doodles - but her Labrador bitches are hip tested both with low scores, and they have bi-annual eye tests; the Stud poodle she has used has also had his hips and eyes done.  There aren't many truly responsible mongrel breeders around so I do wish you the very best of luck..
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age
