More on it's way...
« on: February 10, 2014, 10:12:44 pm »
Forecasters have warned the ENTIRE COUNTRY to be on alert for 80mph gales and torrential downpours.
A deep low pressure system is currently swirling over the Atlantic and heading straight for our shores.
Forecasters warned Britons to expect a “Valentine’s Day massacre” as the frenzied storm rips into the UK on Friday night.

Must be them.

Er ... hope it's gone by Saturday. We're going away. Only to Liverpool (about 2 hours away) but I don;t fancy driving in those conditions.

My brother's in California - I told him it was his fault but he reckons he's blameless as they have a drought!!!!!

Becoming the norm  ::)

We had ice and snow yesterday morning. The lane was treacherous and the minibus couldn't get here to take the children to school. Gone by mid-morning.

Snowing heavily again this morning .... white over. Very pretty but guess it will soon just add to the mush.

This is the scene about half a mile away from our house. we are up a hill (fortunately for us). This caravan park has flooded three times this year already.  The fields are like lakes and where theres not a lake, its just thick mud, yucky!
however, we could be worse.

Where are you KC? We'll all be moving that way.

Snow is staying down today, pretty chilly, but the sun is out now.

We had a bright couple of days, intermittent wind and the odd sleety shower, but I was just out feeding in a fleece and suddenly it went from blue chilly winters day to blizzard :o  First real low ground snow of the year here, we had a sprinkling over hills last night but nothing that lasted the first shower..  Glad I'd gone out to feed before it started!
