The cheepest I found was on eBay i have looked around near me but all were between £15-£20 per 20kg sack so I ordered them at £12.49 but in was told order in bulk for lower prices but I can't afford 50 sacks myself lol so wanted to start a feed club not just chicken food but any large orders of chicken duck horse rabbit or even budgie seed or a lot of different sacks would lower the costs as I said I have a large shed to store a lot of sacks 25ftx12ft to be precise lol

I get four bags at a time delivered and put in ,my containers for £8.50 a bag Nutripet.  20kg bags.  Colin is on here sometimes, but he lives at Cambus so Kennaway's a bit far I think.

I usually use Blacks as prices include delivery because I get hay from them.  Most recent price was £9.50 each pellets and corn, they were £9.25 before Christmas.

When I don't need hay but do need over £50 worth I get free delivery from Davidsons in Blairgowrie and the last corn price I can find was £7.95 ex VAT so about the same £9.54.  For under £50 they will deliver to the nearest Davidson Chemist shop which is Newburgh for me so only 3 miles and I time collection when I'm going to the village for other things.

The garage in Newburgh also usually has stocks but in low numbers so you can go and they've none pending delivery 2 days later so I use them as a backup emergency place to try.  Can't remember the price but it's more for summer when hay is not being delivered and before I found out about Davidsons delivery policy so it'd be out of date anyway.

A cheaper supply would be great, but I can't drive to pick it up in Kennoway without incurring a large fuel and time cost so I doubt it'd be worthwhile for me not to mention loading and unloading the car can be too much some days so doorstep delivery has more appeal than a 10p saving per bag.  I use ad lib pellets in the feeder and a scoop of corn at teatime which works out about a bag a week of pellets and one a fortnight of corn in winter, a bit less in summer when there is more free ranging and less messing up my back doorstep..

We used Blacks at Collessie for all our feed requirements when we had  :goat:  :chook:.  Found their prices very reasonable.

Sorry, I may have misread the invoice, it was itemised and VAT added at the bottom, so possibly not on all items.  £7.95 was the price for that item and the VAT was presumably on other items in total, my mistake.
