I often get a pack of them from the cash and carry , TBH I don't think they taste as good as they used too , either that or I am getting old and stuff that used to be nice now tastes  :-\

Not the first thing to be kept at around the same price but to shrink a little every year - won't be the last either.

It is quite obvious that tolerance develops as we get older, and therefore need to eat many more to get the same effect! And they are definitely smaller!

There are a fair few things that get smaller as the price gets bigger.

Does anyone remember the old Fry's caramel chocolatey eggs?   Now they were truly addictive but haven't seen them for about 40 years.  I think maybe they were only available in Scotland.
There's something disappointing about the white bit in Cadbury's crème eggs.

Not had one hatch on me yet. I'll keep trying. I want a hen that lays those eggs.

I used to love em, can remember scoffing a whole 1/2 dozen one Easter, but as I've got older, I think they a bit more sickly, but will indulge one day soon.

I find them sickly these days. I think taste buds change as you get older. Mine certainly have.
