Sally's right in her assumption that most pet pigs will be more fat than meat :innocent:, I've seen a lot of 'micro' pigs - none of them 'micro', all of them (except 1) were vastly overweight and most suffered foot and other conformation problems.

There are hundreds of these poor pigs living in completely unsuitable homes, lonely and bored and lots more in rescue centres and sanctuaries. Although the peak of the 'micro pig' phase has passed and most folk now realise there's no such thing, I don't think it'll ever completely go away  :( As long as there are people willing to believe the hype there will be unscrupulous breeders just waiting to relieve them of their cash  :gloomy: :gloomy: :gloomy:
