Our roof is coming off bit by bit. Keep wondering if I'm going to have a view of the sky when I wake up in the morning!! Hope it lasts out until we can afford to get some brave soul to get up there and repair it. Not gonna happen until these winds have passed. Got a leaky bathroom ceiling at the moment which we can cope with as can't use the bathroom as it hasn't any heating or hot water anyway. Some BIG spiders have taken up residence in there whilst it's been vacant of bathing beauties (me of course, not OH obviously)

Wild here, too, but not as bad as I expected. It's been mostly dry all day - the neighbours even have the washing out...

The only problem - I've not had internet since some time this morning. Don't know whether that's storm related, though; I'm sitting in the library at the moment, but they, of course, will be closing soon!

23:10 on Christmas Eve

Holy moly, never experienced winds like this
pygmy goats, gsd, border collie, scots dumpys, cochins, araucanas, shetland ducks and geese,  marrans, and pea fowl in a pear tree.

Yikes - just had a large shed erected on Monday.  Hope it lasts.  We dug in concreted posts around each of the sides so hopefully it can't budge.  Hope the roof stays on though.

Posts are holding it steady - but first strip of felt roofing has gone.   >:(
