Hello from South Somerset
« on: December 04, 2013, 10:12:50 pm »
I often drop by and read a bit, but thought its time to join in. We have a couple of acres in a tiny hamlet, an ancient apple orchard which I renovated in 1990 and a new orchard with about 175 various fruit trees, mainly rare apple trees which were planted about four years ago. There has been an apiary between the orchards since 1997. Having worked away a lot, we came home for good in 2010, chickens came soon after and more dogs. Our business is in photographic production.

Thank you for the welcome, on such a wild and windy day .  .  .  well for you all anyway, just a stiff breeze here.

Hello and welcome from a fellow southerner. We are in Stoke St. Gregory near Taunton. Is that near you?

We have been here for 18 months and rear lambs, weaners and chickens. Lovely part of the world and hasn't the weather been wonderful over the last few days?

Hello there - you may recognise me from somewhere else!

I wish I didn't feel quite so envious when you talk about all those trees!

Hello  from North Somerset!
We have a small orchard, not ancient though! I would quite like some nice frosty weather!
