« on: August 21, 2009, 10:39:13 pm »
Gardening that is

i've only be at it for under 18 months

but at any given time, i can look at ANY part of my garden and i have jobs to do!!!

planting, weeding, lifting, tying back things, cutting grass, lifting sacks, planning beds, putting up fences on and on and on and on

when do i get to sit back and enjoy this "good life?"

Unless you give in to nature - never  ;D ;D ;D

She comes back and messes it up all the blooming (pun intended) time ;D ;D

Then, just as you get it perfect, and go on hols - she sends rain and sun and more rain,
and its all to do again on your return

The only break a Gardener gets - is plenty of Tea breaks ;D ;D ;D

You love it really though  :bouquet:

I love being in to garden and see loads to do but our B&B takes priority so I don't get out for as long as I want, I get frustrated by the fact I darn't get dirty as I have washing, irong and cleaning to do and grubby fingers serving breakfast is not professiiiiiiiii ;D

What you need is

1.  Posh silk headscarf for covering your hair
2.  Long old but smart looking coat for gardening in (Oxfam shops - Camel coloured)
3.  Pair of girly gardening gloves to match coat and scarf.

Then not only will you keep clean, but you will look professional, and still have the
lady of the manor look for approaching guests - even though you are gardening

( A bit like "To the Manor Born type image - you get the picture ;D ;D)

I ordered matching outfit my Logo on for doing stuff around the house, black jogging bottoms and black polo shirt, long sleeved and black apron, it all looked great until
1, the jogging bottoms shrunk so now look like a part of a clown outfit, although must say they are less dangerous for going upstairs in and I usually stand on my turnips.
2, the string on the waist has pulled out so the also fall down all the time, I have to hoist them up quickly before I make the long journey from the kitchen to the dinning room with hot plates, if I don't go fast they end up hipsters but my apron covers a lot of pant!!!
3 the bottoms are also bleach splashed so look a bit tie dyed, not too good a look.
4, my top got the bleach this morning when I put some in the sink, my boob part dropped in, I didn't notice until I looked in the mirror, so now I have one Orange side to my top, like I have been breast feeding someone Irun Brew!!!
5, lastly I have a small hole in my jogging bottom bottom, when I bend down to feed the chickens, one of them always things it's something tasty!!!!!

New outfit required...must go out to the charity shops like you suggest>> ;D
