Hi from East Dorset
« on: October 31, 2013, 10:01:02 pm »
Hi. I'm married, have 2 sons, expecting another son next year. We just have a small veg patch, no room for animals but am interested in small scale farming and keen to help out wherever I can.
We enjoy home baking and walks in the New Forest.

I have some experience of poultry preparation eg with dry plucking, and would like to post an ad offering help with this- please can someone advise where I should place such an ad?

Thanks
Rich

Hello and welcome to the forum. I used to live in Ashley Heath. By the sounds of things you are close by there.

Hello and welcome from Carnoustie

We don't have an adverts page yet - maybe put a post in poultry board meantime

Thank you for the welcome posts. Yes, not too far from Ringwood and Ashley Heath.
Thanks for the suggestion Rosemary, post sorted.

I'm also happy to help with home/on farm butchering of pork and lamb in case anyone down this way would like help with that.

Hello and welcome from a sunny Somerset. :sunshine:  I wish you were a bit nearer. I could do with someone to help with the butchering. Good luck with your new venture.

Thank you again to everyone  for the warm welcome and also for the kind hospitality you provided Lesley, a big help on the trip up North. Back home safely now.
