So far so good, she is still getting on with gyp.
I don't think she has lived indoors before and she is such a thief!
She is always hungry but it has to be little and often as she is so skinny. She disagrees with this method and stole eight eggs and a tub of margarine the first night.

Everything is now kept in cupboards and not on the work top!

Hurry up Saturday ........

Not long now - just a day and a half and she'll be yours  :excited: - to have and to hold, for better for worse - regardless of how much she steals   :roflanim:

Just watch the margarine and butter - if sicked up on a carpet you never get rid.  The fat attracts the dirt no matter how often you shampoo it.  :'( :'( :'(
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

They must all be the same. Our Gypsy stole food all her life despite being so fussy with her dinners  ::) and she ate a chip pan full of lard then vomited it up on the bathroom carpet which subsequently had to be thrown out. As Doganjo said, you just cannot get rid of that grease  :P

Child locks on cupboards may be in order after Saturday  :innocent:   Hope time flies for you over the next couple of days  :sunshine:

Urgh lard!

My other dog (also a lurcher) was a sod for stealing when she was younger. when she was a pup I remember coming downstairs one day and finding her with what looked like blood all over her front legs, chest and face. I thought she had injured herself or been attacked and was halfway to the phone for the vet - when I noticed the chewed up ketchup bottle on the decking.....

I have just made a pound shop fleece pet blanket into a jumper for Mavis after her shivering during the night. Rubbish pic but you get the idea  ;) Today she has learned to do sit, give a paw, and is just getting the hang of lie down. Very clever girl, our old greyhound took months just to learn his name and the meaning of the word 'no' lol.

She is lovely. We have just rescued a lurcher dog that was being badly treated by its owner.
Short version of story is it ran away from home turned up at our place a bag of bones and cuts on legs
Owner turned up to collect it and when the dog saw him it ran into the barn and hid from him  :(
We offered to take him and find him a home and the bloke jumped at the chance

What a good idea for the jumper. She looks very comfortable in it
