Yesterday we brought home two lovely togg nannys. Apparently they are pedigree ones but seller lost paperwork. Where will I find the register to trace the breeders?

Presumably they were registered with the BGS? and should be traceable through them.

If you pm me the individual numbers plus herd number I can check on the BGS system for them. Do you have any idea of their pedigree name (prefix)?
 
However some people use the "they are pedigree/registered but I lost the paperwork" to sell their animals for more, and then the new owner finds out s/he has been taken for a ride... be prepared for a negative answer..

The eartag numbers will prove the parentage if registered.

I love my Toggs, only wanted some 'pets', ended up with 2 lovely Toggs, but what a responsibility. I didn't realise how rare they are becoming untill I managed to contact the breeder and she sort of told me off for taking them to a BS (I didn't realise what a special girl I'd got).
Trouble is finding a good Togg male up here, it's sounding like a 100 mile trip this autumn  .

So now you need to contact BGS to get them transferred into your ownership,  otherwise any kids will lose their pedigree as you wont be able to register them.

thank you! I done a bit over 100 miles (one way lol) to get them two, as even not registered toggs are difficult to find! And  they were looking very good on the picture. Well what a lovely surprise I had
