Hi and welcome from Powys .... between Welshpool and Newtown .... so not too far from you.

Make sure you go to the Christmas Market at Llanie and visit the Minerva Centre .... if you are into crafts and home produce.

Thanks for all the welcomes - In the Hills, nice to know someone local to us - do you know if there are any local smallholding groups we could go along to in the area?

Welcome from Llandinam - just down the road. I go to Llani most weekends. Gret Saturday market there and Great Oak Cafe is lovely.

  There are a few people on here starting a North Wales group ...... first meeting this weekend I think.

Is a Mid Wales group a possibility I wonder?  Nearest groups that I've been able to find are over the border in Shropshire.

You can always PM me if I can help with anything or for a general chat  ;D

SQ - have you got contact details for that. Googled but only comes up with a reference to a newly formed group on what appears to be a Downsizer Forum page.

Um.... no!! Had a look round for some old leaflets but I think I have let my subscription lapse (it's £10 a year).

I'll keep looking.
