Scroll down and you'll get to Patch.... he's the last cat on the page.

My answer is NO, he's  bluddy jinxed!

I think he's been an elderly person's lapcat and sadly that kind of home isn't always long term.. Maybe a retirement community could take him on, bless him.

He'd hate it here, my lot would give him a hard time and I'm not a great one for sitting being a lap very long, so no, I wouldn't take him but not for fear of his being a killer cat  ;)

My thoughts were the same as ellied .... belonged to older people.

Yep, if I was looking for a cat, I'd have him. Bet he has lots of cuddles to give.

Nothing wrong with that cat - 11 years with his first owner from birth, then re-homed to an old person - just sheer bad luck.
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

twice is just bad coincidence (and probably elderly owners) so I wouldn't have a problem with patch  :) . I might hesitate to take in Lucky the guide dog though:-

jeez - i wouldnt want him either.... :o :o    he actually sounds like my gsd, shes off her trolley too. she took the oars out of my hand the other day while i was rowing my boat. she bit one in half and then split the other so it resembles a thin stick. try rowing back with that! sometimes she will tow me back to the shore but not that day, she towed me to the bushes on the wrong side :roflanim: :roflanim:

Would rehome Patch in a heartbeat, if I didn't have 4 other rescue kitties and a husband who has told me 4 is the max  :'(

As Patch is a tortoiseshell, I think 'he' is a 'she' even if the name suggests otherwise. Poor girl. I hope she finds a home with someone young enough to outlive her.

I would have her but OH won't let me have a cat.  :( :(

Can't you make some holes in some feed bags, roll some teeny bits of soil to look like mouse droppings. "we've got mice - we need a cat, it will live outside" (for now ;)  )

BTW typing one handed, we took on a rescue cat last week, spitting image of a black and white in those photos, with an incredibly cute pink nose.

We have poison for them like we did for the rats.

OH knows I wouldn't leave a cat outside. No it wouldn't work and TBH I see his point. As he is blind and cats tend to expect people to walk round them unlike dogs who expect to do the moving, it wouldn't be safe. I'll just have to make a fuss of other people's when I get the chance.

You mean other peoples dogs actually move instead of expecting you to stride over them? where do I go wrong?
