I think it's called up-cycling
« on: September 17, 2013, 12:39:47 pm »
We recently went on a break to the East Coast. In a nice little shop they were selling terracotta plant pots on a roof tile that you could either hang or screw onto a wall. Price £10.

Whe we had the roof redone I sold most of the old tiles but probably still have a few hundred hanging around.

Hey presto....

You could do themed ones for Easter, Christmas etc or have ones themed for hobbies with sewing items, golfing bits & pieces etc, etc inside and then put a ribbon around.  Would make a really novel gift and then the actual pot could be used afterwards for a plant

I did however get i trouble for doing the drilling of the plant post in the living room as opposed to in my potting shed... cant think why.  :innocent:
