I love Brinjal, the chutney that is, but it doesn't sound very feminine. How about Keema, still curry but I think more suitable for a bitch
Life is like a bowl of cherries, mostly yummy but some dodgy bits

Will it be as pups KC name or pet name or do you want a name that can be used as both? Does it have to be a curry?
As pet names, I like a really simple name, very short .... one syllable.
My sisters friend has called her lab .... Clementine. Pretty, but by the time I'd managed to get that name out Clementine maybe miles away.

her KC name is WEESHIRES BHUNA, so I am after a pet name that we both agree on  .....could be a curry name or a place name or a human or other thing name, I even look at peoples names on here and on the whiskey  bottles at the supermarket...I did think of Brandy but not good enough  :roflanim:

I think Bhuna itself is a good name.  I prefer two syllables for a  gundog as you can place emphasis where you need it.  And it reminds me of one John's favourite whiskies - Bunnahabhain.  I think those rocking glasses I gave you as part of your wedding present are from that distillery.
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

Bunnahabhain :roflanim:  that sounds like a made  up name when your drunk.....I actually like Bhuna too....I wanted to keep Brinjal but there is already one as a KC name, we can still call her that but I am going to think very carefully,

My neighbours boy working lab is Brandy.
I like ..... Rose, Ella, Bonnie, Fern, Meg, Bell. Simple, down to earth names. Think I lack imagination. ::)
Can you post her piccie? Don't think you can come up with names without looking at their little faces (and gives us a chance to  ).  ;D

we chose our kittens name from the poems by ts elliot/cats musical - "macavity" the mystery cat. our kids almost know the poem by heart now which was the aim really. we go for tongue twisters as i think its good for kids to learn new words. though a dog would need a shorter name. we have boring old max but he came with that name - his show name was torpedo which is great (if he wasnt lame  :innocent:)
i love choosing names. theres loads of sites on-line.
iv always loved the names timber and haggis. what about skurlie? - a good scottish food  :excited:

HGL ..... great names
Fen is short and sharp, simple and unpretentious. Not confusable with commands. I like that.  :trophy:
Daughter chose our pups name so I didn't have to ponder.  :trophy:

I love a lot of names...that's making it worse....we so far have Kia, Nina, Mason, Rhum, and the other new owners have not decided as yet but they often change their minds anyway, some names just do not seem to suit the pup when you get to know them!!
