Ouch !
« on: September 12, 2013, 08:04:16 pm »
What is the chances of a duck giving you a black eye !
went down to the goat this afternoon and our ducks where at the other end of the walk way between the stables and the new goat pens. Nothing unusual about that as they sit there waiting to be fed.
What I didn't notice is that one of the mallards off the river was with them, he took off and came through the walk way, couldn't get any higher because of the roof and smacked straight into my face  :o
Got a lovely shiner coming, sounds a bit stupid when people ask what I have done and I say a duck hit me in the face  ::)
Not been my week, first I fell over a wheel barrow when I was carrying a bale of hay, next day I got stung by a bumble bee and ended up at A & E  then today the duck !!
I am thinking I should stay in bed tomorrow  ::)

;D ;D  sorry sokel that made me laugh.

OH and me were catching the sheep last month for fluking and one of the Soays made a jump for it and sent a flying head butt right on OH's mouth, it was a huge smack.  Very funny although he didn't think so obviously.

Enjoy your new look, or try and get another one to match  ;)
