Had a lovely day yesterday
« on: August 30, 2013, 08:52:59 am »
We went to the beach at Southgate, off the Gower peninsular. Its a lovely place with a wide sandy cove. Its the first time the dog has been to the sea. He wasn't sure what to make of it but loved running around in the sand and he was very well behaved.

How lovely - we need to make the most of the last days of summer.

Dan and I are planning fish and chips on Arbroath harbour tonight  :)

oohh - Arbroath harbour... The sweetie shop there sells Orkney icecream - only had it once, years ago, but still remember it! Very recommendable. (Pudding, maybe?)

Sounds lovely - we miss the sea and there is nothing like Fish and Chips by the sea with a salty sea breze adding to the flavour.
I bet that you will be back there before long given the dog enjoyed the day out so much.
