Hello I'm sandy I have a small holding in Dumfries, Scotland , I currently have 5 Shetland ,1 Jacob , and 2 scotch mule Ewes and just had my first 7 lambs a few weeks ago , Hoping to get some good tips from everyone On the forum.

Welcome  from just over the border in north Cumbria.  We are commercial beef and sheep farmers, with rare breed / fleece sheep on the side, plus a couple of house Jerseys and a few pigs.

Lambs just 7 weeks ago!  Goodness!

Hello from central Scotland- near Falkirk to be precise. My fiance's parents live near Dumfries, so we tend to be down there a wee bit. Did you go to the show last weekend?


We have dairy goats, and occasionally rear orphan lambs or weaner pig for meat.
