Not sure where you are? I am expecting a litter soon but should be chocolate but my Ex is interested but would love a Black Lab...depends on what he wants but he could be interested, he is in Leicestershire...always had dogs.......huge garden backing onto a private woodland and lots of time on his hands...............he may still want a chocolate drop but its a long way for a puppy to travel from Scotland!!

Hi There, sorry should've said where we are. I think we'll be too far away as we're near Perth. Good luck with the chocolate pups  :excited: . Our Jess had 10 pups altogether, one was fox red the rest black. The red boy was spoken for pretty early on. I just hope we find nice homes for these other girlies :fc: .

We hadn't heard of fox red until lately! But it turns out our pups granny was fox red too. He's very dark but it is still classed as yellow by the KC. He's lovely and the man who owns the granny is buying him  ;D

How did it go with your pups Happygolucky? Are they all sold now? We ended up with one for a wee while but it ended up going to a friend of a friend so we hear how its getting on which is nice. Our dog seems very pleased to be back to her old self!

We sold them all  very quickly and had a back up list, there were not many chocolate labs around I was told, I advertised on 3 sites, very quickly  and very early, I think they were just three weeks old, within the first 2 weeks if the adverts they were sold with deposits taken......I never advertise so early but knew I may not have time.......and was ill, so pleased we kept one, that was our intention, she is just like her mum, very laid back and it's so sweet to see mum and daughter playing gently, although mum needs building up again as her coat is very thin.......it was very hard going, especially as my husbands been working every day as he needs to take work while its there...the pup is a great distraction for me during the stressful time of moving.......thanks for asking, oh, my ex is not getting a dog until next year now........

I take it the Stud dog owner is taking some responsibility for selling these, and that all the appropriate health tests have been done - if so I could perhaps advertise then on Lothian and Borders Gundogs for you as our members are always looking for well bred working Labradors with good pedigrees.
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age
