What a grand job - wish I'd asked him sooner!
« on: July 17, 2013, 05:18:27 pm »
Since my conservatory was built 4 years ago I've been worried about the step down from it being too much - I've tripped and fallen my length twice, my wee granddaughter has too.  So......

Bloomer to teh rescue, built me a beautiful deck patio, on same level as conservatory floor, full width, and three correct depth steps down to the grass.  So very very pleased with it and been making great use of it since he did it,

Just had to show you his work, thank you David!

Looks lovely great job, are you having railings around it?

No railings, not needed, grass all round, only 25cms or so down.  I've put plant pots along the edges to pretty it up anyway.  Gives me another room, although with 7 already don't know why I needed it! :innocent:

I offered railings, annie assured me she was a grown up and didn't need them, the deck is designed in such away that they can be retrofitted easily if annie ever proves she isn't a grown up!!!
